Recently refurbished building. One of the leading bus stands in the North Central region of the country. Mannarama bound busses from areas like Colombo and Mahanuwara needs to switch their routes from A9 road here. Due to Wilpattuwa sanctuary Busses from Colombo to Mannar needs to visit Medawachchiya via Anuradhapura and to enter the Mannar road.

Due to its strategical location many bus routes started from here.
