  Medawachchiya railway station is a junction railway station located on Northern line in North Central Province in Sri Lanka. It is situated about 230 km away from Colombo Fort.It is branching point from Northern Line for the Track No05 Mannar line, which run from Medawachchiya to Talaimannar Pier

  I accidentally lost my phone while i was changing the train in this station the station master kept the phone with him self until i come and collect it so nice people

  This is an important railway junction along Sri Lanka Railways' northern network. Medawachchiya is the junction between the Northern Line and the Mannar Line, Giving its services to Colombo, Jaffna, Kankasanturai, and Talaimannar.
