The place is quite and clean.. rooms are large and well furnished. But we had no hot water in our bathroom and water was smelly.Food is below average.staff is ok.. but they screwed our bbq

The place is really nice with newly made buildings resembling traditional Sri Lankan Colonial Architecture. There's a very small pool which is well maintained and temperature controlled. The landscape is kept clean and there are outdoor play areas with chess boards and stuff. The courtyard is full of life after dark when people return from their day trip and meet each other and talk about the day. Highly recommended for budget travellers but do look for the first floor rooms which have A.C.. Rooms without windows can be very discomfortable is hot humid weather. There's a modest eatery just outside across the road owned by tuktuk driver Dinesh and his mom. He could take you around for day trips.

Loved our stay here over the weekend. Good value for money as the rooms had hot water + AC. They have a lovely back garden in which they are growing all sorts of trees. Very cozy and peaceful. Their pool is quaint and the beach is not that far. Sumudu, the receptionist is a very nice and helpful lady.. Didn't meet the owner but he sounds friendly over tge phone. Didn't order food from them, but I recommend trying out Sanchi Jadi Kade (located 2 km towards Colombo from this place) for some really good Sri Lankan food. Don't forget to visit the 2 turtle hatcheries around here too. Will definitely visit again!

This is a very clean and cosy hotel in Kosgoda. The value for money gorgeous this place is insanely good, considering that the rooms have hot water and AC. There's a swimming pool too! The closest place to get food is either right opposite the road leading to the hotel or around 1 km away at a place called Sanchis rest house. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There are monkeys in the area so keep your windows and doors closed.

Nice and quiet. The stuff is very friendly and accommodating but we did have a power outage during our one day stay.
