Would highly recommend this place. The rooms are incredible, the food was gorgeous, and Nandu and his family go above and beyond to make your entire experience unforgettable.

They created an open fire pit in the evening, and took us for elephant safari during the day. This place was definitely a highlight for us

We travelled with my 10month old daughter, the lodge is perfect for families, Nandu and his family went out of thier way to make sure we were as
comfortable as possible, even washing and sterilising our milk bottles.

We only stayed here for 1 night, but we were looked after very well! From the second we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome with a nice drink. The dinner buffet was amazing too. Our room looked really cool and although partially outside, it was kept super clean. The safari we organised with them was with a knowledgeable guide with a lot of experience. I can highly recommend this place if you’re thinking of doing a Safari in Udawalawe. Personally I don’t think you need to stay more then 1 night as there is not that much else to do around.

This place was amazing! We had the family room which was an open air bungalow on the second floor. It was warm, bit with the fans on it was a comfortable sleep. The mosquito nets were a must, and were in good condition. The included breakfast was huge and delicious, and we also had dinner here both nights. So good! The safari they arranged for us was excellent, and included an English speaking wildlife spotter/guide. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location. Great guide into the park. Room was immaculate and beautiful. The building is new as of 2017. They have a great fire pit and make food for their guests. We traveled into the jungle with them on Safari and saw elephants, eagles, crocodile, jackle, fish and baby elephants. Wonderful guide, wonderful guest house.
