Don't believe anything you read about Lihini. 7 clients in 2017 have suffered the following system. You will be overcharged and NEVER see your project completed.
1. Promised timelines not met.
2. Many areas of work on a site started; none finished.
3. Fixed Price Contract not honoured.
4. Failure to manage employees on site.
5. No attention to detail and appalling quality.
6. Payments and "loans" requested without works being done.
7. Begging for money that is never repaid.
8. Overcharging with no records of payments made.
9. Goods and supplies not delivered.
10. Goods ordered, paid for and delivered to one site, then transported to other sites.
11. Walk off the job if requested pre-payments or loans are not made.
12. Failure to pay suppliers and hardware stores for goods.
13. Failure to pay Liquidated Damages when job not completed on time.
14. Tradesmen completing work so badly that roofs leak, electrics don't function, plumbing doesn't work or hit water is not available.
15. Failure to provide approved plans, and tradespeople who cannot prepare, follow or complete work listed on plans.
16. Over estimating on the QS and BOQ by more than 100% of the Sri Lankan National QS charges.
