It's located on dam of the pond. It is a very beautiful natural place. So many varieties of food are available. Dining place is made ground floor and first floor by wood. You can have a look the view of pond while having the meal downstairs as well as upstairs. Customer service is good. Staff are friendly. Foods are quite expensive. But you can have relax here. I recommend this place

We went for lunch on our return trip from Trincomalee. It's a great place to have food and you won't be able to find any other place nearby for a good lunch around this area. The staff was also great and friendly.

Nice place, breathtaking view of the kantale lake, clean and tidy Inside, clean wash rooms, definitely a good stop for a dine on your way to trinco.

This is a fantastic place to have a meal on your way to trincomalee or the way back. Food is delicious and unbelievably reasonable rates. The staff is also excellent while being efficient and super friendly. The view is also spectacular since the place is located on the kantale tank bund. If you are traveling along the A6, it would be harder to miss the place. More than enough parking is available.

Execent place for visitors in Kanthale
Previously jt was a "Thanayma" & During the war it was maintained as a Army camp. Now fully modified Restaurant maintained by Sri Lanka Navy.
Foods AC Rooms Wedding hall facilities available.

This place is running by the Sri Lankan navy staff. Situated in nice location. But some staff members are not customer friendly. They serve for the guests like as robot. Recently I saw that their maintenance also not even in good condition. Many of the seats are broken and tables also old looked.

Good place, great food. I'd give 5 stars if they did not serve slightly hard water. Water served to me was not pleasing and it ruined the experience. And also wash rooms didnt have hand wash. Other than that the environment and staff is really nice.

We are currently on a motorcycle self drive tour of Sri Lanka from Australia and stopped by chance at this Restaurant and very glad we did. The view was superb and the food great. I was a little surprised that they would not let us use the wifi as paying customers though. They said it was only for guests staying in the villas??? I would've given 5 star if it wasn't for this small detail - not as if we could tap into their wifi after leaving FFS

The very best you can find in the area. Maintained by the SL army. Very clean and well arranged. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Lake view rooms. Big restaurant and good food. Family friendly. Recommend for anyone.

They have a nice & clean air conditioned restaurant. You can directly see the Kantale lake and feel the cool breeze. I can say this is the best restaurant on the way to Trincomalee and it is affordable too. You get a good service and the restaurant has very clean toilets as well (even with Toilet papers)
