The main government hospital for the people around kuliyapitiya area. It has some newly constructed wards and some new facilities. It is soon expected to become a teaching hospital aling with the upcoming medical faculty nearby. The outpatient department provide an immense service of free health care for the innocent people. Several clinics comducted provide medical assiatant to people from many longterm illnesses. The hospital is equipped with most of the modern medical instruments and surgery facilities too
