Raja approached me. Was the best meal we have had in Sri Lanka. Would 100% recommend!!! Margaret and Raga are friendly. We are going back tommorrow for lunch. 😍😍😄

At the first glance just your average roadside cool spot, I just wanted to grab a King Coconut and Lemonade - both excellent by the way! - and then continue my exploration of Nilaveli.
However, I started to talk with lovely Margaret, who spent some time in Frankfurt, Germany, and her husband Raja, and they offered to prepare lunch for me the next day. Hands-down the best vegetarian rice and curry I've had in my 5 week Sri Lanka trip (and I had a lot!) which they serve in their lovely home with a nice garden, just around the corner of their streetside stall. You'll have to make arrangements upfront, but it truly is worth it and I ended up eating there every day during my stay in Nilaveli.
