Difficult to find the station since it is hidden behind bushes a little past the level crossing. And the train times given by Google Maps are completely wrong.

Can take trains to Pettah, Panadura , Puththalam and Chilaw. Most of the slow trains running on coastal road stops here

If you are a first time traveller, please install some sort of a Train travel app ("Train finder-srilanka" is recommend) as it will make you life a bit easier. The platform is quite high enough for getting in to most train models. There is however a bit of a rush for the morning trains(the office trains starting out till 7am).

I rented bikes here last Friday. Everything was pretty fine. Personnel were really polity and helpful. Wewere provided with baskets, locks, helmets. Great service. Thaksin you srilanka ts tours..
