We went there with our KDS friends and families. Sri Lankas one of tropical rain forest located in Galle district. You can easily travel with Galle expressway and exit from Baddegama interchange and straight to Udugama via Nagoda. So many varieties of native animal and plant species.

It has large number of synthetic plants special for sri lanka.. U can see waterfalls and small water flows on here.. We cant see very old giant trees.. Most of them are about 30 yrs old.. If u want to get the full day package(6 hours) its better to go there before 8 a.m. Nice place to visit for forest lovers .

Experience the feeling of walking in a tropical rain forest.
Located in Galle & Kanneliya-Dediyagala-Nakiyadeniya. Floristically richest areas than Sinharaja. Beautiful nature. Please follow the guid's instruction and you will surprisingly will enjoy the view and climate.
Carry a umbrella or raincoat, you may get rain fall inside the forest.

Kanneliya forest very Rich in biodiversity. some species you can't find in any other place. Best for bird watching, Butterfly and you can watch few endemic Fresh water fish species in a crystal clear shallow waters. Just 40-50min from Pinnaduwa exist. You can come from Baddegama exit too.

they have few trails. you can chose one of them but You can't enter without a guide. They have well experienced guides.

Pls keep this clean and safe for future.
