  Restaurant is in the middle of the river. Need to go few meters by boat.
  Small island covered by the river.
  No wash room.
  High rating due to the lovely atmosphere.
  Old building and simple menu.

  Wonderful, Beautiful isolated location in the heart of the Kandy city. Surrounded by the great Mahaweli river, treated by delicious food and beverages by chef Themiya (the owner) it was the perfect get-away for the weekend.
  
  We were well welcomed and well taken care of by the pleasant Ivory island's staff. Enjoyed the time with our kid in the island. We will come again. Thank you Chef Themiya and the staff. 😊

  Absolute tourist trap. Two plates of rice with vegetables, two cola and two beers wanted 6000 rupees for us.
