Small train station located 96km from Colombo Fort on the Main Line, with a great view of Alagalla mountain peak. Has limited access to nearby bus routes.

Small station in the kandy/ Badulla rail track. But the surrounding area is beautiful. There is a nearest huge rock "Alagalla" which is a better place for hikers.It is bit dangerous peak unless you prepared will during climbing.
