Excellent homestay. After three weeks in Sri Lanka this was one of the best places we stayed. The accommodation is brand new and finished to a very high standard. Room is very large. Air conditioning and a fan. Lovely decking area for relaxing and eating. Breakfast and dinner is available, it's delicious home cooking and highly recommended (excellent value for the quality and quantity!)

Family that run this place are very friendly and helpful. Overall a superb experience. Glad we found this place.

Really great stay and what a lovely family! This is a great base for exploring Polonnaruwa. We stayed at Hiru for two nights and had the most delicious breakfasts in our three weeks stay in Sri Lanka. We got to try milk hoppers, which we haven't yet come across during our travels. The owner arranged us bicycles for a great price and the whole family was lovely, provided excellent service and served us a great, and extremely generous dinner! We ate here both nights, the food was really good quality. All in all a wonderful place to stay, very modern with air conditioning (essential in Polonnaruwa's heat!!), great shower with hot water, and a lovely family in a nice quiet, tranquil location. Thank you!!
