Beautiful Batik store.. Nice collection of hand made clothes.. Price is medium. Worth visiting it and see how they are making this art.

Beautiful batik clothes and items for sale. Demonstrations of how batiks are made, labour intensive and a true art.

While there are many beautiful items there, check your purchase carefully. And, if you are a novice in purchase outside your own country, take the time to calculate how much you are spending. I bought a cloth and spend 50 times more than I could have in USA and it was damaged. Blame myself but buyer beware here.

This was a stop recommended by our driver. Sadly it was a typical tourist trap. The lady doing the Batiks tour was totally bored and played her script in bad English. You could see ladies doing the Batiks art work so I think it was no total scam but the prices were quite high and all items in the store had no price tags. So everytime asking the bored guide was annoying. The tour took not more than 10 minutes. 5 minutes in the shop and we felt the need to leave.

Great designs. Does a small your to introduce the buyer to batik. Most of the items in the store are priced expensively reflecting the focus on quality.
