Hands down best guest house I have ever stayed in. If I come to Anuradhapura again or hear a freind is visiting Sri Lanka I will tell them to visit the ancient city and when doing so to stay at Heaven Upon Rice Feilds. This place is run by a polite young family who will help you with anything! They organised a local tour guide to take us around the city. We recommend you ask for Ajith who spoke so passionately about Sri Lanka and gave you a real feel of what being a srilankan is like. Thank you Ajith. The hotel is clean with a comfortable bed nice views of the Feilds nice tiled floor clean bathroom. I couldn't have asked for more. Oh and the food! Yum! Get the Sri Lankan pancakes! I will see you guys soon!

Super friendly hostst, with a very nice room. The food is good and it is really nice to start a day with the view from the balcony. Close to the ruins.

Lovely stay here during our time at Heaven Upon Rice fields. We were supposed to be here for two nights but changed our itinerary last minute as we wanted to go somewhere else and they were so kind about it. Breakfast was amazing! The owners were in incredibly friendly to us, there's also space for parking if you've got a tuk tuk or if you're driving your own car!

The nicest people and gorgeous rooms. Rode bikes around Anuradhapura all day - so much fun and easy. Ate dinner at the guesthouse each night - loved the home cooked meals. Breakfast was so yum! Always a fresh juice; fruit; eggs (eg. Fried, omlette or french toast); marmalade and toast; tea and coffee! Happy to arrange tours or taxis to your next destination. Highly recommend this lovely place. Thankyou!

Both rooms and attached bathrooms are under super quality. Rooms are all air conditioned and very spacious. Very good place in all aspects. Food also very nice. Clean and quiet environment very good place for couples. I can recommend this place to anyone because i have visited so many places but this place one of the best. Owner is very friendly person you can stay like ur home. Try this place you will never disappointed.
