The Gunasinghepura bus station is the station for short distance bus services which normally travel outside of colombo. The bus stand seems out of supervision of authorities and not maintained correctly. Anybody can visit there for a bus but everybody must be careful with their belongings because pickpockets and thieves can be there. Normally people don't wait here for a bus, but they wait on the road outside the stand or at Keselwatte junction. This place is normally crowded and traffic can be expected due to operation of buses.

A lot of private buses start from here including the inter provincial buses , but very poor maintenance and nil facilities to commuters.
One advise I would give to people traveling here is to look after their belongings , as the place is filled with goons and pick pockets.

Yes! It is called a bus stand, but the facilities to the commuters and maintenance of the area is very poor. Be careful If you are there after 6 pm alone.
