Loved it here so much. We could have stayed forever. Great location, amazing food and awesome people. The rooms are beautiful and the rooftop yoga space is just the best place to do some morning practice. Would highly recommend! :) :)

Green Peace Inn is much more than a guest house, it is such a charming place and the managers clearly care to make everyone feel so welcome. This isn't the place to stay if you're looking for a 5 star hotel experience, but if you are more looking for a warm and social atmosphere, the opportunity to make new friends, and perhaps work on yoga or meditation, then Green Peace is for you. I was travelling alone and immediately felt part of the group, joining the yoga classes (on the amazing rooftop space) and joining the team for delicious food on the long dining table. It was more like being home than staying in a guest house. I also love their little dog Luna! She was such a pleasure to see every day :)

Green peace inn is a home away from home. I arrived at green peace inn just expecting a regular room but my stay was so much more than that. I was welcomed by the owners and the other guests with open arms and huge smiles. I immediately felt comfortable in the space. This is not just guesthouse but a home. Everyone cared about my experiences in Sri Lanka and the recommendations they gave me turned out to be invaluable.
This is a huge, open property and it's perfect for the yoga classes they offer. Situated right on the beach, it's a ten minute walk to weligama (close enough for a town visit but far enough you feel you're in a private space). Their food is all vegan based and incredible!
I stayed for three weeks longer than anticipated. All in all, one of the best stays in my travels.response / report this review -

This is such a nice place! I wasn't too much into yoga but the classes they offer (7 AM and 5 PM every day) on their own rooftop are amazing! They also offer breakfast and other dishes which are all healthy and mostly made of organic and fair trade products - so tasty! Healthy food lovers will definitely get their money's worth. Last but not least, people are very chilled here, you can easily chat with everybody and get connected. 100% recommendation - be healthy, do yoga and join greenpeaceinn!

This place is so amazing!
The flat roof makes it possible to do yoga from, watching beautiful sunsets, dance under the stars, or just relax and watch the beach and the waves.
It’s in a quiet place of weligama and the waves make you fall into sleep with peace.
The people that runs the place are just the right kind of people that fits every kind of humans.
So welcoming, so helpful and always there with stories, yoga, amazing food and smiles all day.
It’s like a small family.
People hang out, play cards, sing, do yoga, eat or surf together.
And if you want your freedom and a quiet place. The roof is big enough for your privacy even if there is others.

Beautiful, clean rooms with amazing mattress and pillows 💛and beach view. The vegan breakfast is sooo delicious and healthy too. Thank you lovely Green Peace Inn Team for this beautiful stay!

Fresh renovated place, with new very comfortable mattresses and pillows. I think the best I had in Sri Lanka. Soon they open a vegan cafe on the 1.11.2017
