Good thing is can get buses to all places but the bus stand is not clean on rain days the drainage system is very bad, Even no chairs for waiters need to stand :(

Good place to find a bus to anywhere from kandy. Most of them are SLTB buses. Place is usually rush. Need to be improve so many things such as time tables, route roads etc.

A lot of buses run from here up north. In case you take one with ac, small ones, they look like bigger vans, and you don’t travel all the way, make sure they give you the right price. So from Kandy to Dambulla it’s 200 not 365 which are charged all up to Anura. And when you Carrie a big bag they will charge that as a person

Main bus station of kandy. Not very clean and poorly organized.

This is the Main Bus Stand in Kandy. The place is not so nice. You can get almost all the buses except few buses. Dodanwala, Mathale, Katugasthota Waththegama, Digana Buses are not parked here. Those buses are parked near the Kandy Clock Tower

Bad organized, very crouded and there's always lot of traffic which blocks the road.
There are lot of buses which collegates most of the nearby and far cities, such as( colombo, kurunegala, kegalla, mawanella, nuwara eliya etc)these are parked inside the bus stand, and some of them are located on the other side of the road where you can find the intercity buses with a/c. Local buses such as(pilimathalawa, kadugannawa, dehianga, wathurakumbura etc..) are parked on the side of the road next to the bus stand.

Another important place in kandy. Day time usually crowded with people. You can get the buses from here if you are travelling.

Old and rusty place no maintainence at all no seats to sit on have to stand for couple of hours to get on a bus.

Always very busy and noisy environment with hundred of buses. But it is possible to get a bus for any major cities in Sri Lanka.
