  Golden lanka tea shop in hikkaduwa very good place.Tradisional sri lankan black tea (OP) price is Rs:150.I know that is very resonable price & unmatched quality tea.

  The worst place to buy tea in Sri Lanka!
  If you are white or East Asian and walk into this place, thinking you will buy tea for a fair price, you couldn't be more wrong!
  
  After reading many comments about this place on google, TripAdvisor and a traveller's blog, I knew the current price of teas were supposed to be around 120-200 rupees per 100gr. When I asked for the price, of course there was no tag and she gave me a special "white tourist price". 650 rupees per 100 grams of a basic tea. This is 4€ or almost 5 USD. In my country, I would have bought it for the same price!
  
  So I didn't want to offend her and bought 200grams, but I regret it so much as 10 minutes later I walked into another tea shop and I got the real local price of 150 rupees per 100gr.
  
  Dear manager of "Golden Lanka Tea", can you actually sleep well at night?
  
  I hope no tourist ever buys anything from your shop ever again.

  Большой выбор чая, но все впечатление подпортили две импульсивные продавщицы. Одна из них никак не могла сдержать своих эмоций по поводу того, что мы так долго выбираем чай, в итоге взвесила нам его меньше, чем мы просили, а стоимость взяла как надо.

  Отличные цены. Большой выбор. Продавец прилично говорит на русском. Можно попросить пробники. Всем советую.
