Ancient temple from King Walagamba. One of thero in this temple was in Sri Pada as the Nayaka thero. Many programs happen in Poya days. Some of theros in this temple are teachers in rathnapura Piriwena. Villages treat this temple as their own thing. Very good relationship with villages and temple. Specially there is Kawi Samithi in this temple.
