This is one of the Galebandara devalaya situated in kurunegala town area. There are another devalaya can be seen at wilbawa temple and Ethkanda viharaya temple. The most most first built devalaya is located at Ethkanda viharaya according to the informant at temple. It has separate statu which built during kandian kingdom era.
