  The economy room at LKR 1200 is really dirty, smelly and lousy. There's some very bity insects living in the dirty bed (ants?). Couldn't sleep and I'm scratching all over. Wifi doesn't work, no hot water, no toilet paper, no soap, no nothing, somebody's hair in the dirty sink. The rest of the place outside of my room seems equally lousy. There's construction with drilling and painting on the second floor, and they are offering a room there as a "new room" for 1500, in the middle of construction noise and smell. Didn't have the honor to see the owner, only construction workers who gave me the key. I hope I will not scratch forever.

  Cheap price but the room was not in a Good shape or really clean. But the owner is really nice, present and helpful. Well situated, not too far from the temples, and you can hike some bicycle. Good stay.

  Single room :1500Rs
  Bicycle:500Rs
  Total 2000 charged.
  Wifi ,cold shower ,fan room.
  room is enough big.But it's not clean.And AC socket and mosquito nets are broken. Notice:The location is difficult to find if it's in the dark.But the owner is frank and kind.So as a conclusion , 3 star.

  Not so clean. Gordon is nice too but be careful with the restaurant that he could advise you, they charged us almost the double that we should pay normally. Also, when you take a room, ask if the bicycle are free. He charged us for that and it supposed to be free.

  Cheap but not really clean. Try to sell you a tour all inclusive for all cultural sites but you won't see the major one (abhayaghri). Clearly a fraud we'll never see this site because of them, they turn our stay in anuradhapura in a bad experience.
