We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. All rooms have ocean view. There is no privacy in the balconies, which help make all residents become friends. Breakfast is good omelette, toast, butter and jam, plus tea or coffee as per your choice. Rooms are enough to host yours luggage, yet no one stays in the room unless they are sleeping. Yes would go to the same place again and again. Mr. Emanuel who manage the place is a great host.

Fantastic,delightful place. You literally step out from your room on the beach, the waves are just 20 m in front of you, you can sit on a tiny verandahvof your room and watch the sea. No hot water, but there is no neet. Rooms need better care and cleaning. The host extremely friendly

No hot water so be prepared for that, no sunbeds, rooms are very basic but the host is very nice and every room has a terrace. Has a direct entrance to the beach.

Great location on the beach. Simple rooms, clean, all have a small terrace facing the sea. Very nice and helpful staff. Thanks for these few days with a taste of paradise!

Best value for money in Uppuveli. Rooms are basic but the location is perfect, right on the beach. The family is amazing!

(+)Nice price for budget traveler.
Room is just right in front of the beach which I would say the best beach in Sri lanka!!

(-)But there were power off moments quite often which means even you might take a shower in the middle of the darkness.

There is no kitchen. (But you can go dinner out with cheap price)

Hope you would get used to say hi to little gecko.

If I visit Sri lanka again, I would definitely visit here!

We saw several rooms of this guesthouse but all dirty, many dead flies on the bed, bathroom smelling so awfull. Breakfest was not available at 8.30 (after waiting for 40min). Never saw in whole sri lanka such a bad guesthouse (And we do take the cheaper onces).
