The great thing about accommodations in Sri Lanka is majority of them are guest houses, and a few small hotels, and because of this we were able to directly support local business owners. Everywhere we stayed we had breakfast included – it was both convenient and delicious. The hosts were always flexible on offering continental or local breakfast options.
The hosts are what made our stay in Sri Lanka both comfortable and memorable. They were always aiming to accommodate your needs, making sure you were as comfortable as you can be with what they have to offer – they have been great examples of the wonderful hospitality you hear about in Sri Lanka. They (along with the Tuk Tuk drivers) are also a wealth of information, don’t underestimate them, and feel free to ask about anything and everything.
The room was comfortable, clean, with AC, and had its own shower with hot water. Mosquito nets were also provided, which helps a lot! The views from this place are just amazing! The main guy here was very attentive to us, flexible, and great in helping us figure out what to do and how in Ella.response / report this review -

Nice and friendly staff with good breakfast. Unfortunately the rooms are rundown, not clean and not as pictured. Nice view but that's about it. Not worth 80 sgd.
