A great place to see how the old fortresses were built. You can see how strong those walls are and how they've designed them
Good place to see. We can take photos but no vedio. There are lots of memento stone.
Cool place to go with your family and friends. Parking spaces are limited. Has a picturesque view with the sunset so better to visit in evening

This was built by Portuguese in 1560 and Dutch took it over in 1658.British occupied the place in 1795.
A beautiful place let to harsh sun,heavy rains and see breeze.This lovely place is neglected.

If you travel to Mannar you can visit this place. Very little actions were taken to protect this location.
An old fortress and a historical landmark, open to public for sightseeing and offers some good views of the sea and the nearby town.
This is very old Dutch fort which is in Mannar island. But this is not maintaining well from government. If some body does not get any actions this place will be vanished on future.
This is an old Dutch fort preserved to a certain extent. Good if it had a display of the history and the importance of the fort.
Old castle built by Dutch people in early 1590 or recent era. When i visit there, no action has been taken to protect the place. Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka should consider those places
