It's one beautiful unpolluted waterfall with a magnificent view. You have stairs up to the top so it's an easy hike up there. You must get a ticket to enter the pathway up. It's not recommended to bathe when it's raining as the flow is very high.

Really high and picturesque waterfall. Three levels. You have to walk the stairs and jungle roads -- make sure you have comfortable shoes with you. We were there on a very rainy day. But if you are lucky and the weather is good - you can swim in the river.

Excellent place. But don't take bath from the man-made pool. Use the natural water fall.

A very beautiful waterfall which has water flowing down 3 storeys. Height is about 25m. The name dooli has been given to it because of the way water splashes after hitting the rocks is like dust(doovili in sinhala language).

    I loved it.

    Tips.

There is a artifical pond kind of thing at the basement. You will see lot of people are in there. But don't get in. Not worth.

There is a staircase in to the jungle mountain. When you are going up, you will come to different stages of the waterfall. Water is very cold, and stone bolders are very slippery. So by keeping safely in your mind, get close to the waterfall. Yet the feeling of gushing water on you. If you are an adventure seeker, you can go way higher along the side of the waterfall. You will have to climb up along the jungle aside to waterfall. But it's worth it. Go for the view and to see a different view on waterfall.

When a waterfall emits dust-like spray, people used to name it as a Duli ella. (Duli / Duwili mean “dust” in Sinhala). Other than the famous Duwili fall at Kalthota, there are several Duwil falls situated in various parts of the island. It’s a common experience that each an every waterfall has a unique beauty, though they are varies in height, width and capacity. Duli ella at Kosmulla, Neluwa is such a beauty, which allow travelers to explore her with a minimum effort.

It’s good to see the effort bared by the Local authority on maintaining the environment in an acceptable manner. Since this place was ideal for one day outing for natural lovers, I preferred to add this report as a one day trip, though this was the first day of our visit to explore the southern boundary of Sinharaja rainforest.

Loved visiting the waterfall- the cost is 200 for foreigners and 20 for locals. The man and woman who take care of it are very friendly.

A spectacular trail through the sinharaja forest lies the Neluwa Dooli Ella, a breathtaking waterfall unusually located down south of the island. Where rains are expected more than 3/4th of a year and leeches may or may not cling onto your feet, the hike up to this waterfall and the breathtaking view from above will definitely have you clinging onto your soul.

This is not exactly the most closest place to visit, but if you have a day to spare, this ride is proper worthwhile especially if time is not a luxury asset to visit the hill country as it is very rare to find a secluded waterfall admits the coastal beaches of the south.

An early departure will assure you a time well spent at the waterfall where you can bath at the waterfall and swim peacefully in the artificial pond located further below. At the end of your visit.

If you are looking to spend sometime away from the crowds and the beaches, to enjoy some tranquil nature, this is the journey for you.

One of the most beautiful places that nature has gifted us with. It was hard to get to the top. But was worth it. The water was so refreshing. The trees shading the path and the wet ground is so good.

Amazing place that you should never miss in Galle. The narrow road to the ella is now carpeted. Entry fee for locals is 20Rs. Be careful when you walk on the rocks as they are slippery.
