  Perfect place for a family outing. Many activities. Lots of things to buy. Especially plants. Children park is perfect. Diyatha Station is a nice restaurant. Reasonably priced. Food is good.

  Nice tourist attraction. Not a place for couples. They have mini stalls which sell various items for cheap, especially gardening items. The food court is quite good with fast service. Best to hang around in the evening, afternoon would b too hot and finding a place without sun burning down at the bench is not so easy. Nice place for photography.

  This place had beautiful views and a calm atmosphere, perfect for an evening walk while you do some shopping. There are also some plants on sale like cactus and a clothes and of course food. It's right next to Waters Edge hotel and right on the main road, which is easily accessible.

  My Husband and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Diyatha Uyana!
  It was so good to stroll around the stalls and enjoyed Ourselves without been pushed around😊🤗🤭 We bought many plants too with ease. There were not many stalls today but it was peaceful and enjoyable.

  Went on a date date here during the evening. It has beautiful views if you know the right spots. A very active and booming place with multiple shops of variety. There is a children's park and a beautiful lake. The place is lightly inhabited by ducks that roam free. Clean and beautiful and also consists a food court with ample seating. A decent space available for parking as well

  Well maintained public park. Nice place to relax near Colombo in the evening. This place have flower exhibition during weekends. Crowded in the weekend .There are food stalls every day. Calm and quiet environment. You can have a clearer and nice view of Diyawanna oya from this place. The walking path go through wet lands. Good maintain can be seen. Good security. Ample parking spaces.

  This is a must visit place in colombo. You can get in free 24×7. This is a park ans it has a very beautiful nature scenes . If you are lucky you can see animals. There is a kids play area too. There are food stalls from different restaurants. Also it has a walking path which has 3D designs on it. You can enjoy this place with your family friends or even alone. You can park your vehicle in the car park too

  This is a place where you can enjoy your life with loved ones, family, friends and even alone. Lot of things available around here. Walking park, Aquarium, Food court, Flowers and many more to buy, Benches and open space to talk and enjoy. Also the lake view is something make us calm. Lot easy to be happy and enjoy life.
  Lot of people come here all the day time for various things. At night this place is crowed with people. If it is a holiday heavily crowded.
  This location is easy to find and come. Also security available, police, civil security division, sometimes military and also private security available here.
  We use to hangout and sometimes we use this place to meet up people.
  
  Wheelchair accessible entrance available. Wheelchair accessible parking also available. Parking available too.

  It's a great outdoor place where a person can come to enjoy with a family. It is a very agriculturally inclined place. It sells many varieties of plants and trees, both for decoration and crop bearing... and it also sells all the other requirements for a garden. It is a good place for relaxation. Only problem is... it is spread over a large area with very little shade, so it is very exhausting on a sunny day, and troublesome on rainy days. Better to go there prepared for both situations. But still it's a great place.👌👍

  It’s a good place to stop for lunch on a sunny day. Parking space is available. But on rainy days, you may have to face difficulties. Any way I must thank the people and pioneers who took troubles to establish this wonderful place within the city. Nobody had thought of following them. Hope authorities open eyes to provide more and more places for the people coming to the city to come,spend leisure, enjoy and fulfill their needs. Finally, I must appreciate about the sanitary facilities provided for free. Hope authorities think of improving the quality and service to attract more and more people.

  Lovely park to walk and shoot photos alike. Crowd most of the time but adequate. The children's park is good as well. Good market and the massive food court are both brilliant. Little bit overpriced but affordable. Parking is the biggest hassle on a busy day.

  Nice park to have a walk or to relax. The food court has a variety of food items but, bringing food or drinks are not allowed into the park. This precaution is taken to stop littering and animal feeding. You can have a serene look at the waters and this park is a known location for bird watching activities as well as, a Pokémon go players' grounds. You can visit the restaurant Boardwalk and have a fancy meal in the park. So many facilities are rendered to you to enjoy your evening at Diyatha Uyana.

  I first went to this place back in 2012 where they only finished the 3D paintings in the roads. Aquarium and cafe was under construction by that time. This was the first of the newly parks constructed and many people attracted to this. Since then, this was one of great attractions in Colombo and have visited several times. However, recently the crows seems to be disturbing the calm and quietness of the area but still highly recommended place to go.

  Cool and calm place in Colombo. You may go there with the family, if you love nature and to relax. There is an aquarium in the front with various fishes. After passing the aquarium you will find some plantation selling outlets. Further there is a big walking/ jogging track. There are some food stalls available where you can have a quick bite if needed. Such a beautiful place to spend some good time.

  Ample parking. Need to wait in long ques on weekends. Calm during weekdays. There are natural flower and plants stalls open from Friday to Sunday. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrances are there.

  Place to relax in the midst of Colombo. Well maintained park and a food court which spans for few acres. Would be a great place to hangout with a group or alone. There's a great choice of food at the food court and plenty of open space for dining.

  Good place to hang out earlier used to have some jogging tracks but now swarms of people lazy walking on it. Over the years it had added a aquarium some food stalls and a open air stalls which used host good market earlier. Now mostly gardening stalls set out in its place. Boast a good restaurant managed by water's edge where you can buy alcoholic beverages

  A relaxing park for the whole family. Separate play area for kids to keep them occupied. Long walking tracks around the lake. Many places to eat out. Parking may be a problem and weekends are generally crowded. A must visit place in the city of Colombo.

  Among the best places around Colombo for a weekend or an evening. There are multiple small shops selling plants in one area. The aquarium is really nice with fish of different varieties. The children play area is very much fun for kids. The walk path is a nice touch for those who want to stay active here. What you get out of this place is quite remarkable, being a free to visit place.

  A beautiful place to relax and enjoy some family time. Need bit more securing and fencing the lake side, can add little bit more options for children's play area. Also need to maintain it with professional staff. There are room's for improvement.

  Good place to have food. Many food outlets. Not suitable during raining as we have to eat in open space. Also, there are many stalls to buy flower plants, post and related materials. Parking is some time difficult and you have to wait in a queue.

  A nice public park overlooking the Diyawannawa lake to sit and have a good conversation with friends. Variety of food options are available from the food stalls. You can also check out the Long bar at Water's Edge nearby. They have happy hour offers!

  Calm and quiet environment. Excellent place to relax and to pay a visit with family. There is no entrance fee and the washrooms are clean and free. There are food stalls around the parking area but you cannot take food inside. For me the 3D arts was very interesting.

  Good place to relaxation so close to Colombo. Food store is available and foods are fine. Food store is busy but the park is calm and quiet. Good for a couple or for 4-5 friends to have a chat sitting on an outdoor bench while enjoying the environment

  A place to spend your leisure time with the loved ones. At the period this place was opened, the food shops were superb and their were enough stalls to do some shopping too. But now the quality of the food shops aren't that high and all you could buy from this place is things for your garden. This place has a nice view for wedding photography

  Good place to hang out.. Has decent stalls with a good variety of food.. The only negative is the lack of shade for the cement benches and tables which makes it unbearable to sit and eat during day time

  Separated places for kids & Lovers.. Nice place to be with your family or partner. Going alone to read a book there is not bad either since you can find quiet places. Well maintained park. Food corner is also a great place have something but at lunch beware of food stealing hungry crows.
