Damaged tracks.Washrooms,change rooms not cleaned in ages. Seems like no authority is interested in maintanance of the stadium.Breaking apart day by day.

Surrounded by trees the Mahinda Rajapaksha stadium is located in a picturess location.

When the ground was first constructed it was maintained well and had all the necessary facilities.

Since then the quality of the stadium has had a steady decline.

The 400m track is wasted and needs to be replaced. The washrooms are not maintained well.

If you do live in the vicinity then this is an ideal place to come for morning walk.

This place has been built to have international stadium. But still this is not in the standard of international level. But for daily jogging this is good place. But it's bit far from kottawa city and close to homagama town.

As a parent I visit this stadium every year as my children's school sports meet is held here as well as ISAC meet. It is indeed a beautiful place but sadly the whashrooms are in a very bad state. These poor kids who go there almost to spend an entire day suffer badly due to this . I would be glad if this could be looked in to and yea agree with all the others who left reviews its not maintained well.

One of the best located international athletic facility in Sri Lanka. It was built during a government which focused on fast development of the country in all aspects during the time which it was maintained iconically. To date the place provide space for many athletes as well as people around to do activities and be healthy.
Sad to see some of the builds have been deteriorated due to lack of maintenance and attention nowadays by the authorities concerned. However the staff assigned seem to be striving to manage the place with the limited resources remaining.

It's very goo facilities in here. But maintenance is very poor. Every day lot of students peoples come to here for practices. The favilian is very unclean. 10+ time there held any event. It's really need the good maintenance & clean.

Close to my home one of the good ground, yet lack of activities starting discolor the out looks of it, it was vibrant when it was new, But now everything starts to fade away to the small bushy back ground.

This ground was built on Radio Ceylon Facility, It was Sri Lanka’s one of the Oldest Radio Channels on the 80 - 90. These roads were very dangerous on 1986 to 1990. Eventually everything started improving around. Proud to have this grounds near my place

Very good ground but needs service and low price of 50rs for international schools and 10rs for goverment and there are good coaches

Although it is a very good facility it doesn't look like it is maintained properly. Pavilion isn't very clean and lots of stray dogs everywhere.

It is maintained by the Sri Lankan Army. Nice,calm,quiet place. Can play foot ball,& jogging too. There were coaches for athletic , they charge Rs.10 per school kid to enter the stadium. It's a great pleasure that we can train in an international track for a small sum of money .

Nice place is having all the facilities. Also a good place to do jogging, walking etc.
Also enough space available to park your vehicles.
