This was about ward no 7 and the doctor who is in-charge (a black skin color Big fat Tamil Doctor).

It was really a bad experience that I had where my father was admitted for a wound treatment and after being inspected without even taking a Scan or X-Ray this doctor insists to remove the whole male organ in his body. Which we objected and by forcedly had transfer the patient to National Hospital Colombo, which they confirmed that it doesn’t need to be removed.

Furthermore the people who looks after the patient is been sent out by the staff while the mentioned doctor is inspecting.

When my father was suffering from a serious diarrhea while I was there and the doctor was next to me (even though the staff sending out the caring person of the patient I was there for the criticality of the patient) then I asked the doctor to look into the patient due to the diarrhea germs can be directly affect to the wound since it was undressed. Without even listening to my request he kept on discussing unrelated things with his two buddy doctors and the staff, such as digital cameras and vehicles.

Think about it before you go to this hospital especially this ward.

Even the new building is not properly maintained. Onsite ward doctors are trainees and they wait for the senior in charge doc for the recommendations. Senior doctors do not pay their good attention to the patients.
