Terrible service. There was another table before us that had already eaten. Thinking we are the only table they have to cook for we weren't expecting an hour wait. After an hour we asked if the food was coming and the lady said she would make it soon.. a good hour of sun wasted.

My favourite place to eat in all of Sri Lanka! It's nothing glamorous but the food was incredible 😋 We also did a cookery course and learnt how to make the famous Kottu Roti - a must try!

Very friendly hosts, as the front area was full they put us in a room at the back which was nice. We bad curry and rice which was really tasty and they even gave me seconds! Can recommend for local food at a good price.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had chicken and fish devilled and my fish was butterfish. Very good!!!
Unfortunately you really have to bring plenty of time and patience. We waited well over an hour and also they didn’t have the dessert we had in mind even though it was on the menu.

Delicious home cooked food and a lovely family run place. Dimali is warm and welcoming and the portions are very generous! Its clean and reliable. This is a real treat.

Food was so delicious, probably the best I've had in Sri Lanka so far. It was just a nice home cooked meal! Not to mention decent serving sizes!! You might wait a little longer than in your typical restaurant but definitely worth it in my opinion. We got there around 6pm and were the first of many who came for dinner that night. I had the fried noodles with chicken and my partner had the chicken curry. Would definitely recommend this place for others.

Have just come from this restaurant. One of the best meals I have had in Sri Lanka and India. The portions are generous and are cheap for the area. The couple who run it are friendly. Try the devilled chicken!

Wow! Just Wow! The best food I have had in Sri Lanka! It felt like being invited to a private home and getting a home cooked meal. The ingredients used in all the dishes was of high quality and some where even home grown. If I ever get back to Sri Lanka, this is the first place I would go.

We came here to have lunch. It's beyond our expectation of the Chinese-style cuisune. The cook is gifted and had worked at restaurants in Singapore. We special ordered the food in taste of Cantonese taste. It is delicious and i thought it should be good for Sri Lankan local food also. The price is quite fair in this area too.
