  As a tourist this was a new ecperience for me. Buyimg the ticket to the old fashioned ticket press to boarding a train thats very old, dogs lying on the platform, people running all over the tracks. I should give it zero but i loved it. This is how life should be.

  If you want to avoid morning and evening traffic then Train is a best option for you. You can reach fort by just 20mins

  Galle and Matera trains are stop here. There's nearly 400m to Galle road. Maintains are not good and the stations announcing system not good enough.

  Not located near bus route. Needs maintanance like all other stations in sri lanka. Very helpful for people because this is the fastest way to travel

  The optimized way to travel to Colombo specially in the morning and the evening (peak hours). There are lot of trains between 7-9 am to go to Colombo, and 4-7pm to come back from Colombo.
  
  Should not expect proper 3G or 4G coverage from Dialog mobile at this station.

  Small Station
  Very close and easy access from Galle road.
