Nice park. Situated near the "Parakrama Samudrya" and well maintained place. Good place for spend some time here. It cost only LKR 20 and for washrooms LKR 10. There are few rules and regulations , so you better read them well when entering the park.

In polonnaruwa the name "Deepa uyana" is given to two places. One is a park whereas the other is a place next to museum having the remnants from the era of King Nissankamalla's reign

Good calm place. Near the road. Clean and beautiful. Popular among young couples. Water and wash room facilities of good condition is available. You may have meal there. But you have to bring food. No garbage can be left there. Ticket is Rs 20. Parking is little difficult. It is still under construction. The old Deepa Uyana build by the great king is on the other side. Parakrama Samudraya is nearby. So you may have a bath if you wish. Can spend about an hour.
