  One of a sacred Buddhist place in Ampara, Sri lanka. Belive this was built in 3rd century BCE. The importance of Dighavapi is connected with legends about visits to this site by the Buddha. The stupa is in very bad condition and much more attention should pay. Its worth to visit at least one time.
