After telling a tuk tuk driver about our budget per night he found this place for us. We really liked our time at Cresent Bay sharing some good food and a lot of nice tips for our trip

Don't ever go here. I was taken to this place by a tuk driver n it was about 7pm. The person who was there asked me for 2500 for a A/C room n I said ok. He didnt ask or say anything else. Next day I left around 2pm n he was asking if am leaving. Then he tells me that he wants extra cos I stayed after the checkout time 10.30am. I told him I didn't know this and u never told me about it. Then with a loud tone he is asking me "so r u saying it's MY fault?" I said it's not about anyone's fault it's a miscommunication. Then he asks me if I don't know the usual hotel policy about the checkout time. (Well as far as I know the usual checkout time is 12.30 and u still get an extra hour or two. And this is informed at the time of check-in and registration which never happened) I asked if I can speak to a manager n then he threatened me saying if the manager comes they will ask for another days room charges which is another 2500 for which I haven't even stayed 24hrs, and he just wants 500 rupees. I didn't have time for this argument, so I said ok and asked for a receipt. And only then he said ok n asked for my ID for registration cos he forgot to do it last night. In the receipt he just wrote the additional 500 with no description. Photo attached. I wouldn't have taken this seriously if he accepted that he forgot to tell me n his manager will question him. But clearly the way he spoke to me in a loud n threatening voice is not acceptable.

It's just a place to be if you want enjoy arugam bay. Mussi the manager is very helpful for any question. AC very good with generator when the electricity stop. So always fresh air.
