Just a place to eat and they most probably get mixed up your order. Order something ended up with something else. But not a bad place either. They do have Sri Lankan rice and curry on buffet, for some good price. So good luck on eating hear.

They think you dont know seafood. When we ordered crabs, the shalls were empty. The meat and egg were removed from the shall. We complained about this, but the manager jusr brushed it off. Hence the review. If u dont mind to be cheated on, you can come.
And they try to push for expensive item, I didnt mind the effot, but it was annoying after a certain point.response / report this review -

The Trinco Blu Hotel's beachside restaurant - very confusingly called Crab, like the rightly praised and much better (as well as cheaper!) local seafood eatery - possesses a sea view and pretentions - neither of which justify the poor food or the hefty check.
A promised leisurely late lunch at Trinco Blu's informal eating Crab operation involved both reheated soup and warmed up rubbery calamari (a first for me - never again!), served with warm white wine by quite pleasant but apparently untrained - and certainly unconcerned - staff.
The overstressed maitre, both kind and a true professional, deserves better from his kitchens.
Ok, there's no sea view, & happily fewer pretensions, but the local Crab Seafood Restaurant offers better food, better cooked and authentic, at around a tenth of the price.response / report this review -

One of the best places in trinco to have top class seafood. Had grilled crabs with salad and grilled prawns. Awesome feeling !

The food is without any taste, every one at the table were disappointed. I had the vegetables rotti, it's the worse, two spoons of veggies surrounded by a bad crust.

Doesn't look much from the outside but nice and airy inside. Great food at low prices. Delicious lunch buffet. Iced coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a winner on a hot day.

What a nice place to have a good meal. We came to this place suddenly but amaze with the menu and food they provided. Good menu but the service is bit slow. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The worst ever food we've eaten in Sri Lanka and a total rip-off! Do NOT ever go here to eat or drink unless you want to end up with diarrhea and spoil your vacation for 2 days in a remote hospital. 😧
