Pleasant small hotel based in the quiet suburbs of Kandy. Rooms are modern, well equipped and clean, with air conditioning. Breakfast is good and service is friendly. No restaurant however take away food can be ordered to your room. Overall highly recommended.

We really wanted to like this guesthouse, so I’ll list each point separately.
Service: 4 - no problem here, breakfast good and we were offered dinner too.
Room: 3 - it was a cheap, basic stay. The place was clean, had aircon and a fridge, no frills.
Location: 1 - it had a main road in front and behind so it was really noisy all the time- probably should’ve done more research on this before booking. There were lots of other places with impressive views that weren’t on busy roads.
CONSTANT BUILDING WORK ABOVE OUR ROOM: 0 points. This really ruined our time in Ella as they were building another room literally on top of our room. There was hammering and banging all day, it was relentless. My husband kept having to negotiate with the owner for them to stop in the afternoon, as well as trying to delay their start time to 9.30 the following days. For this reason they get 1 overall, the room shouldn’t be available whilst they are building.response / report this review -

Very good place in ella.lovely host and helpfull .close to the center.Nice view and nice location.
