I was in Galle on 22Feb. Rented a bike for half a day. Bike was in very good condition.

Car was old and in quite used condition. Seat belts can't be fasten, check engine is lit.
Mileage is limited to 100km per day (we bargained to 150).
We didn't discuss any fuel policy but owner asked for "fuel money" on return. Fuel tank was 1/3 full when we get the car and 1/10 on return (just in case someone think it was full).
All in all we wasn't happy with this car, but at least it didn't broke during the trip.
Oh, and there's an "agreement" in local language you have to sign.response / report this review -

Thank you Mr. Costa. We rented a scooter to go to Mirissa and everything went fine. Good motorbike with paperwork and insurance, we really enjoyed our experience!

My wife and l hired Mr. Costa's Suzuki Alto for 8 days early February. Mr. Costa was very welcoming, offering us his kind hospitality when we arrived at his place unannounced. He delivered the car to our accommodation and, being an honest gentleman pointed out a few minor dinks in the paintwork.
The car was basic but was totally reliable the whole time; most thankfully the aircon worked a treat. We went to Tangalle, Udawalawe and from Tangalle to Mirissa, as well as various short journeys.
Although driving was an experience not for the faint hearted at times, it was well worth it.
A day before returning the car I contacted Mr. Costa to ask if he could take us to the airport the following day, which was Independence day. True to his tremendous service and hospitality, Mr. Costa delivered us to the airport and in plenty of time.
Thanks Mr. Costa and we hope to see you again one day.

Mr. Costa is a really sweet guy, He gave us a car in the middle of the night. We rented a manual Suzuki Alto which was in really good shape.
Overall it was a very good experience.

A car in ok condition, for a very fair price and with great service. We arrived during the holidays without a reservation and the owner came in especially for us, his family inviting us to wait in their home, offering their hospitality. Would definitely offer them our business again.

Rented a small car off Costa for 5 day quick tour through tea country with my girlfriend. The car ran was sweet and had no issues the whole time even though conditions were sometimes challenging. Costa is a great bloke and he even went out of his way to drop off and pick up the vehicle from where we were. It was a very good price for the quality of vehicleand I'd say if you are up for it then the freedom you get from driving yourself will give you a much better experience in Sri Lanka. We will come back and see you and recommend your cars to friends or anyone who is coming your way. Thankyou Costa, you are a true gentleman.
