Good food, reasonable price, picturesque view, good ambience, friendly staff, good for a stop along the way down or back for lunch or breakfast.. Dont expect exquisite anything but its better than most others.. can recommend..

Fantastic boutique hotel, lovely decorated with a beautiful sea view. The food and service were exceptional - the best we had in Sri Lanka. Ask for lobsters for dinner, if you’re in luck they can get some from local fishermen. Highly recommended.

This is such a wonderful get away from a busy lifestyle. The atmosphere is so comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Their service was above start catogery hotel. They made us feel homely which we don't find in many mainstream hotels. The architecture of the hotel is very simple and elegant. For a calm and quite stay this would be the ideal with beautiful view towards sea.

Stayed here for five nights and the place and service is incredible. We had a different meal every night, featuring fresh catch and local ingredients. Just wonderful and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff did everything with a smile, discreetly and there were plenty of nice touches like daily flowers on our table, turn down service and so on. The beach directly outside is a bit rocky but there's a nice swimming beach called paradise a short ride away.

I went to the Coco Tangalle for dinner only. A fantastic experience. On the pricey side by local standards, but well worth it. Great service and exquisite food. Phone ahead to book and choose what you will eat. Bring your own alcohol, as they are not licenced to sell.
