The Clockinn,
the Stuff is friendly, the bathroom at the moment is not that clean.
We had bedbugs in our room but the stuff was friendly and gave us another room free of charge and solved the problem. All in all it's a very cozy and modern place which brings travellers together. The breakfast is included and they always make fresh eggs ..you can decide if boiled or fried. You want an omlete? No problem. The stuff is acvomodating. If you come a little bit to late you still get your breakfast.
We enjoyed the clockinn very much and we will always choose them.

Don't be put off by the atrocious external appearance. Comfortable and reasonably quiet if you get one of the rooms on the floor above reception where the traffic noise is diminished and the bathrooms are better. Turn down room 001 if you have a choice: it's like sleeping in reception. Some guests might find the staff too laid-back, but they're quick to help when you ask. Airport transfer service is efficient and reasonably priced. Places to eat nearby are scarce in the evening. Not all tuk tuk drivers know where Clock Inn is, especially if you're coming from Fort or further afield. Be prepared to navigate for them.

Great place to stay. Super friendly staff doesn't matter you are local or foreign. Close to Heart of Colombo and very close to beaches. It can be full, so last minute booking is not recommended.

A beautiful hotel cum backpackers Lodge in the heart of Colombo. This is a beautiful three star place offering both dormitory and private accommodation for travellers. It also has a common lounge area to meet fellow travellers. Breakfast is a spread of eggs, bread, milk coffee and tea. WiFi speed is however slightly disappointing and gets disconnected every five to ten Mins. However definitely a good hotel which you can go for.

Great place to stay. Can get full, so book ahead. Great air-conditioned dorms and nice breakfast. Very clean and super helpful staff. Close to shops and the beach, as well as the bus stop. Definitely recommend.

Really good rooms at amazing location! Fast checkin and checkout process.
We took a room for 4. It had a queen size bed for 2 and a bunker bed for 2. The washroom was apt and the rooms were clean. Aircon was strong. Linen were clean.
They have coffee and tea in common area, we did not had them. There is a common big couch and television also in the common area.
The location is center of most things you would want to do in colombo. The sea view is 200m from the hotel. Galle face is 3-4kms, Bellagio casino is 2kms and lot of restaurants nearby.

After going through several hotels online we chose Clock Inn for our short stay in Colombo. Location of this hotel is excellent. It’s very easy to get transportation from here. Employees of this hotel are very friendly. We took suggestions for our day out plans in Colombo. The room was very basic. There was no wow factor in the room. However, everything was so clean and well maintained. As this is a budget hotel we should not expect more. Despite being termed as the budget hotel their room rate is not competitive with other budget hotels. They charge little bit high price in the budget hotel segment.
