  A buddhist temple. A sunday dhamma school is held at this place. A pirivena is functioning there . A lot of buddhist monks are studing at this Pirivena. Monthly sil programme is held on poya days. There are a lot of temple based communiy programmes.

  Chethiyagiri Pirivena / Chethiyaramaya is located on A4 (Colombo-Ratnapura) road approximately 70 Kms far form Colombo. Basically It is a Theravada Buddhist Temple with a Bhikku School (Pirivena) and a Sunday School (Daham Paasala).
