budget accomodation for Bank of Ceylon Staff
Rooms are available for Non BOC staff too but prices are higher
Strictly vegetarian and alcohol is prohibited. reasons for that is unclear but most likely people who come to kataragama mainly goes ti kataragama Dewalaya it is customery to be vegetarian before going dewalaya
Rooms were clean and comfortable

* Few minutes away to sacred site of Kataragama.
* A/C rooms with food seperatly available in buffet.
* Rooms are spacious , Clean & Tidy.
* Food is good & served cleanly (veggie dishes only)
* Friendly staff.
* Ample Parking.
* Rates are fairly low Since place is a Rest House.
* A real value for money.

If you are visiting katharagama you should go to this place at least for a meal.full vegetarian tasty food and you can put a order also.they have good service and im very glad about this place.

This establishment has been improving over the 20 years that I have visited it. The rooms though not luxurious but are clean, spacious and comfortable. There are A.C. rooms available as well.
The meals are available as buffet for all three meals. The bread is baked at the premises and is delicious. The meals overall are wonderful and prepared with much care.
Overall a very affordable and well maintained establishment. Though not luxurious the staff will take care of you and the food is exceptional.

A lot had been improved in the rooms since my last visit. This time, we got a room without AC, on the top floor. But, as we could clearly see, AC would be available for the room real soon. The room charges for the BOC employees were really low. Even for the others, it was a very good price as the facilities and the room quality worth the price. However, the restaurant bill needed to settled separately. Rooms were neat. But hot water was not available. The staff's service was excellent, and was friendly and professional at the same time. Food was also delicious, though it was all vegetarian. I liked their tea most. Had a garden also to be relaxed. But a swimming pool was not available. Ample outdoor parking was available. Best suited stay if you're planning to visit Kataragama Devalaya and Kiri Vehera as those places are at a walking distance from here.

Something about the buffet at this place. Ceybank offer vegetarian buffet only. Price is reasonable. Cleanliness is good. Good washroom was present. No kids options are available.

We got a room without AC. Though the rooms are not new, needed facilities have been included. Good if you hope to stay at a low cost. Food is also delicious. Has a garden also to be relaxed. Staff was friendly.
