I just wanted to post this as a thank you note for letting us use the car park in the morning while the shop is closed. Many parents who drop their daughters to musaeus college are benefitted by this. The security officer not only allows this, but also assists parking. This is a great example for shop owners / institutions who don't let others utilize their parking lots when they're closed.
Kudos to the security officer and the management !

Its at a convenient location, its a very well patronised outlet of foodcity. Parking is adequate though there is an overflow on to the street at busy times. A poor performance aspect of this outlet is having to undergo long time to pay for purchases as invariably only 2 or 3 cashiers are working at any given time though there are almost 6 to 7 cashier counters. Irritating at times!!

Efficient staff, responsive management, and a decent selection of goods. A good place to get mangos, Royal Gala apples, unsalted roasted peanuts, dates, chewing gum, dog and cat food, batteries (sizes AA, AAA, and C), torches, light bulbs, toilet soap, and shaving equipment.

Sensible staff and a manager with common sense. What more can you ask for! Been there a few times and it has been good so far. Has a pharmacy too. Only thing missing is a bakery like in Keells Super Markets.

Very basic training staff. do not understand to do bill payments through the online system. don't step into this if you want to pay any utility bills.

They never open more than 3 lanes even when the store is swamped. The selection of fresh produce and seafood is well below other supermarkets in the area. The Haagen Dazs products are always covered by a centimeters of ice. They also have a tendency to sell food that are way passed the best by dates. Oh and their eggs are never refridgerated.

There is a parking lot, it's good.

Inside is not small but it's like packed. Even though this is located in Colombo 07, I think it's better if there are more space.

Convenient to shop
Situated in Colombo Seven this is another outlet in the chain of food city supermarkets. Well stocked and not overly crowded. There is satisfactory parking available. The pharmacy tends to close temporarily in the evenings erratically.

Crowded on promotional days on card. Always parking is a problem and additional car park option need to be arranged by the management. Unloading of goods should be done while non rush hours. Good variety and choices are available. Space inside is limited and need to be expanded to accommodate more customers.
