Amazing service janith!! Keep it up

A restaurant with a great location and view but lacks knowledge of service. Many of the items on the menu were not available including a drink like a lime juice. We were a party of 16 and they were unable to cope to the load. There was no system in the delivery of the food and they messed up the order. Whatever food they served was tasty and fresh though.
However i need to mention that they have unacceptable food storage practices. I noted supplies all over the floor in the main kitchen.response / report this review -

The Dutch hospital is a 'most see' in Galle. Nice colonial architecture, bars, shops and great views from the upper floor.
We visited the Dutch Hospital twice: for lunch and for dinner.
There are just two bars downstairs, but plenty of them upstairs. We chose Cannon and were rewarded by good foof, friendly service and good desserts.
As for the lunch, we chose banana and pineapple fritters - excellent. They also made good lassi yougurt drink. As for the dinner, we had fresh tomato soup and grilled chicken stuffed with herbs and peanuts. Very good.
We also enjoyed superb views of the Indisn Ocean and the Unawantuna Beach.
The Cannon Bar and Grill is a great place to have a lunch and dinner!response / report this review -

Cozy. Ample space, ambient environment. Very helpful staff. Five stars for the music played. Food was awesome and filling. Value for money.
