The location of this restaurant is highly unique considering it is located directly next to Gregory lake. It looks as if it is almost a part of the Gregory Park too. This place offers a lovely outdoor dining area. However, the rates seem a bit too high considering the quality of the food as well as the quality of the establishment. Therefore, only a handful of local travelers would choose this place. Although, the place is relatively popular among foreigners.

Pathetic! Not even worth a star. Went there for lunch. We got a table instantly but had to wait for 35m just to get it cleared. The servers walk pass you but they will attend to the fair skinned ones next to you. The staff is extermly rude and the manager was pathetic. I had to finally go looking for the manager just to get someone to take out order. The places wasn't packed but the staff pretends to be extremely busy. The manager wasn't even interested in talking said I could leave if I wanted to. We left after 40m of sitting there like we don't deserve to be here.
My advice avoid this place.
The staff could first learn some courtesy.
This place is only for the fair skinned.

If you doesn’t have a good temper you shouldn’t enter here or maybe you can use this place as a good opportunity to improve your temper. If you want to have a snack or lunch probably you’ll spend around 2 hours here. The staff will notice you after 30 mins and it will take another 30 mins to food to arrive and again waiting for bill 30 mins and waiting for change another 30 mins. When it comes to food it’s pretty average just think this place costs twice as a normal place in Sri Lanka and we hope at least the food must good but I can’t even describe the feeling when i have a bite of their tasteless food. This place used to be a great hangout place but now just a waste of space. I admit they have a nice place but they can do so much better. Let’s hope along the time this place will back to its former glory

Food is good (except the pizza). Definitely try the devilled chicken. Service is excellent. Rooms are nice, bathroom is a little outdated. There are no facilities expect the restaurant and your room. Located next to the lake which is highly overrated.

we got two chalets.. Very good rooms. one of our room had minor issue's.. they maintain the garden well. walking distance to Parks and guests Can easy access to parks from hotel. Food dont have a Variety (Breakfast).

中国人不要进这个餐馆！这里的服务生歧视华人。all the Chinese do not even steps into this restaurant！！They discriminate against Chinese，the waiter here feel sick. Other white guys later than we come here. but have already finished the meal. the waiter do not serve us at all. even we call him many times. we suffer unfair treatment.

The location of the resort is magnificient, with spectacular views of the lake and the city. The chalets are clean, well designed and spacious. There were however a few recommendations that could make this a fabulous place to stay. Firstly, the noisy wooden flooring that creaks when you walk. It is highly disturbing. Secondly, the food spread for vegetarians is very very limited. Lastly, the resort could do well with some more staff. They have a very limited staff that have to attend to a lot of things, which in turn cause a delay for house keeping/ room service.
