Went to cafe secret alley based on all the good reviews. Unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment. The smoothie bowl was quite good, though the “Special Iced Latte” was not great lacking much in terms of flavor or strength. The sandwich was also quite bland.
I’d recommend ordering a normal coffee and the health bowls if you do go to enjoy the otherwise great staff and decent atmosphere.response / report this review -

I am a regular at this place now. Quality coffee and delicious cheese and potato sandwiches plus chocolate brownies too. This one has got a totally different vibe and very friendly staff

We ate breakfast here. Very nice place with nice staff. Good quality coffee. The only downside was the mixup with dishes. We had to wait for 30 minuters to get the food as well, luckily we weren't in a hurry.

Tasty breakfast. Good coffee. I found it easily since there is a sign on the road and you can see the yellow house from there. Just 10 Meter from the road in the first floor.

I had a really good fresh mango pureé, banana and watermelon with granola for breakfast. Nice staff and place in a quiet and hidden location in the noisy centre of Kandy. Coffee is very good too. All the food and juices looked yummy, yummy!

It is hidden away in a little alleyway but when you find it you will come back. Well, if you like it healthy and simple. It is a tiny place and the furniture is made from reused material. They specialise in healthy smoothie bowl but have coffee, tea and breakfast options such as the delicious avocado on toast with eggs and salad.
And someone here mentioned the brownie as memorable. The coffee is too, memorable I mean.

Great place to hangout away from the hassle of the city. Interior is simple but charming. Food served is good, but be extra vigilant about the cutleries as I was given a pair which was already used and not WASHED 😣

It is a quaint little place on a side street & probably the exterior wouldn't excite you much but dont let it deter you from visiting it. Unconventional menu & although tad laid back service, tasty food makes up for most of it.
