It's a brand new facility which comprised of fish cannery and seafood processing with blast freezing and plate freezing. The complex comprised of a fish meal and ice factory too.
The newest addition to the facility is a blue swimming crab meat picking facility which has another meat picking facility in Jaffna. The facility also will house a individual quick freezing production line for the seafood products by the end of the year. The facility has created more than 300 employment to the local society.
