  The biggest bus stand in Central Province. With direct route to across the country. All the long route buses starts from here.. such as Kandy to Colombo (A1) / Galle / Katharagama / Badulla / Welimada via Nuwara Eliya (A5) / Jaffna (A9) / Anuradhapura / Trincomalee / Polonnaruwa / Mahiyanganaya / Ampara / Kurunegala / Puttalam

  Probably The only bus stand in Sri Lanka having a different name than the location. Named by British in colonial era. Most of the buses (not all) come here. Back side is very smelly and with dirts and liquor bottles.

  It's the busiest place in kandy where people use to take the transport services to all around Sri Lanka. I'm really happy that government provides the root bus to every place. But they should maintain the quality in providing the service. Hopefully they should concern about the local people. Provide high facilitated busses.

  Busy place, not so nice surrounding. Personally think a major city like Kandy should have a much better bus stand than this. Probably the reason to high traffic jam in the town.

  It's a jam. No proper directions. Congested with lots of buses. No proper queues to passengers to wait. Being a popular place for tourists must have a better organising than this
