This is a very nice buddhist temple you can visit. Many people visit there due to it's attractive surroundings regardless of their religion. You can watch the surroundings if you climb on to the top of the rocks.

This ancient temple was said to be used as a hideout by King Walagamba. The temple was build on rock. Can get a nice view around from the top.
The buddhist monks hold the knowledge of local medication. It was mentioned that with this medication it was been able to cure a headache of king Walagamba, which was thought to be uncurable. We also buy oils from here and they are very good.
