It is program by wamba kala association with secretary mrss.kasturirathne. they opend a statue of rev.sangamittha meheniya showing scene of delever srimaha bodhi to srilanka.

  This ancient temple built during the king jayabahu the 1st. It was renovated recently. The are 3 stone letters still can be seen.

  A renown legendary Buddhist temple claiming the love and respect of thousands of buddhist devotees. There are a number of beliefs regarding the origin of the temple. Much believed is that the Temple got its name "Budumukthawa" because a pearl necklace belonged to the Prince Siddhartha is enshrined here. The serene atmosphere adds more to the beauty of the temple. This temple annually organizes "the Sanghamiththa perahera", a magnificent, religious procession in commemorating the Samgamiththa thero who bestowed the sacred branch of Sri Maha Bodhi to Sri Lanka.
