Consider as one of the important place for buddism. It's having archelogical site nearby. Visit both places.

An ancient temple that was built by King Walagamba.
It is located in a very beautiful and calm place in kalthota. There is a recently built "Punchi sripadaya".
You can see costal margine and surrounded mountains on the top of the rock.
There is a entry point for a secret subway. It is belived that it was a secret subway to Kuragala. Because there is a another entry point to that subway at Kuragala temple.
You can also visit ruins of Kin Walagamba's palace next to this temple.
